ExxonMobil in Singapore
ExxonMobil is one of Singapore’s largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.
We have manufacturing facilities that include an integrated world-scale refining and petrochemical complex in Jurong and Jurong Island, a network of service stations under the Esso brand, operate a lubricant plant and are a supplier of cylinder cooking gas. ExxonMobil provides customers and commercial markets in the region with ground transportation, industrial, aviation and marine fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

What you will do
- Drive LNG fundamental model development and have a key role in forming the LNG market view
- Highlight trade opportunities by connecting market fundamentals and insights, utilizing advanced analytics
- Conduct / review analysis for LNG Trading including spot/swap & strip cargo analysis, project economics, contract valuation and optimization, and market studies; prepare and present analysis in a clear, understandable, impactful manner
- Develop strong collaborative working relationships with global analytical / trading community in order to drive value creation
- Produce ad-hoc analysis as requested by Traders / Trading Management
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Finance, or Economics Degree (or similar)
- Minimum 5 years’ analytical experience in a trading setting, ideally with an LNG or gas market focus.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and inquisitive mind for trading
- Be able to demonstrate initiative, tenacity and drive for continuous improvement
- Experience in advanced analytical methods with the ability to apply to a wide range of scenarios across different businesses
- Experience and knowledge of data modelling; proficiency with R, SQL, or Python desirable
- Advantageous if you are fluent in one of the following languages: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
- Able to travel occasionally
