The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Hartford quality management system, including compliance with Lubricants and plant level policy, procedures and work instructions, ISO 9000, IATF 16949, customer specific requirements and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Hartford QMS and its ongoing compliance with Houston QMS, ISO 9000, IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.
Document Control coordination, monitors and shares site document review status, coordinates with document reviewers and approvers to process document change request timely and within compliance.
Review and validate quality responsible Hartford and Lubricant level procedures.
Manage quality auditing program (product, layer, internal and 3rd party) for Hartford plant, including coordination with plant leadership to identify root cause and apply appropriate corrective action to findings.
Leads investigation, resolution and documentation of customer complaints and internal quality incidents.
Coordinator of site QMS Management Reviews
Tracking and monitoring of KPIs, coordinating and documenting improvements efforts.
Member of Quality and Lab Functional Excellence Teams to drive Lubricants business wide improvements.
Sponsors site Quality Team to establish and deliver on quality objectives.
Member of Plant Leadership Team to support quality aspects of the Business Plan and continuous improvement projects (i.e., capital - FMEAs, defect elimination, process optimization and mistake proofing) with focus on maximizing plant operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Develops and maintains good rapport with customers and suppliers.
Coordinates record management as the Hartford Record Management Lead.

Basic Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions.
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience with logistics, quality, or plant operations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
Minimum of two years of experience with maintaining and analyzing key performance metrics
Minimum of two years of experience managing a QMS compliance with IATF 16949
Minimum of two years of experience conducting internal auditing to IATF 16949 requirements
Minimum of two years direct experience managing root cause analysis methodology
Strong communications skills (written and oral) and the ability to use these to present/influence others, particularly third-party suppliers, and customers
Creative & Innovative with the ability to see the big picture while working multiple tasks
Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft software (i.e., SAP, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Detail oriented
Teamwork – candidate must be a team player focused on contributing to the organization in achieving results
Leadership – candidate must have demonstrated ability to use strong interpersonal skills and lead /guide others toward desired results
Independent Producer – individual must be able to work individually without constant supervision
Proficient in Livelink electronic document management system administration
