We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of LCV Data Analyst in our US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM), Low Carbon Ventures Business Unit based in Houston, Texas. The LCV Data Analyst will be part of the LCV Integrated Planning team and will support the Low Carbon Ventures organization in developing and executing data management frameworks to support project planning, coordination, execution, and compliance practices across their portfolio including DOE funded projects. Key Responsibilities: · Provide data governance and analytics support to project execution and compliance efforts across the DOE funded projects lifecycle. · Plan, design, develop, refine, and maintain Data Architecture to meet federal compliance workflow requirements. · Develop data and reporting standards for federal funded program. · Ensure timely and accurate reporting for audit preparation practices. · Build general and tailored analysis solutions stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. · Monitor data sources for acceptable levels of completeness, validity and accuracy of technical data, and identify appropriate remediation processes for erroneous datasets. · Develop framework for security and consumption of data assets. · Communicate regularly with all disciplines and groups to ensure accuracy of inputs into the suite of tools/systems. · Responsible for analyzing large sets of data used to analyze trends to proactively focus management’s attention on known or potential areas of concern. · Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. · Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format · Weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities. Including performance reports and ad-hoc requests · Creates custom solutions or configuration options to solve operational or workflow issues. · Using tools and libraries like Power BI, Spotfire or Excel to represent data, including program metrics, goals, and performance indices, in a visual format that's easy to understand. · Stay current with changes in government regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements, including DOE, to ensure full compliance and optimize practices.
