Primary Responsibilities
- Research, develop and design electronic interface circuitry applications for control products.
- Lead designers in the development of electrical schematic, interconnect, cabling and assembly drawings.
- Ensure equipment scope and content is defined during initial design process.
- Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for industrial uses.
- Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Coordinate design projects to assure maximum utilization of engineering expertise.
- Provide leadership in preparation and ensure that projects are controlled with regard to scope, schedule, budget, performing appraisal, etc.
- Establish design criteria for projects using required codes and standards.
- Review contractual content to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure subsequent design changes are documented and transmitted as required to internal and external resources.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV’s Company and HSE policy and procedures.
- Utilize software to create and update electrical drawings for projects.
- Utilize Tracker, Team Center, and Rig Doc to facilitate sharing and storing of documents and data.
- Track project time in Omega.
- Track other utilization time, like CPA work.
- Create technical specifications and technical design documents for equipment.
- Provide electrical system commissioning and start-up support.
- Know, utilize and apply local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Interact with safety agencies and certification bodies associated with electrical systems and installations in the oil and gas industry.

Education /Experience Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of work experience or equivalent field experience.
- A strong sense of customer focus (internal/external)
